A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday after a recent announcement of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was shared in a public statement from the Kennedy Presidential Library.

“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”

Details of the Diagnosis

In a personal essay in November, it was shared that she had been diagnosed with AML, a form of leukemia with a specific genetic mutation.

This form of cancer is a cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow.
